I love Squirrels \\

So, it was just another rainy day in the Quad, and I was a bit sick. So, to pass time I came up with a brilliant idea: to lure a squirrel. I do this regularly with birds on my mini-balcony, but after 2 years of squirrel withdrawal, I felt it was time:

The Fun Begins....

And wadda ya know!

I really like these guys, especially their tails.

Some think they are just big rats with furry tails. Well I bet those same people don't think of Brad Pitt as just a big monkey without fur and without a tail.

I wanted to see if he/she would be smitten with my stuffed squirrel, especially as its mating season and all. Apparently not.

I highly encourage all of you to have your own squirrel adventures....just don't get bitten.

Snow \\

A lot of people ask me why my desk is randomly in the middle of my room looking out. For one, I wanted to pretend like I was at a Van Pelt Library desk. Second, I like windows and light. I'll take a tiny room as long as it has huge windows and I can put 5 lamps in it.

So, in light of the nearly foot and a half of snow that fell the other day. Here's a look outside my window & around a few parts of Penn:

Once upon a time, it was late summer & the trees were leafy.

Take a closer look.

Locust Walk

Then Autumn came, and leaves turned beautiful colors, but distracted by mating squirrels, Chris forgot to take pictures. And then winter came, or more specifically yesterday.

I hear it's 80 degrees in L.A. right now.

Amazing what a little photo-editing does. And you don't even need Photoshop!!!

Soon, it'll be Spring again.

Definitely no regrets to living in the Quad 4 years. Next entry, we go from pictures of snow and nature to Monster Trucks.

Toursit \\

Can someone please come with me to the National Constitution Center. Apparently, 'tis wonderful.

*EDIT: This is not to be confused with Independence Hall or The U.S. Mint. Although I want to go to the U.S. Mint too.

Please \\

"I think historically the church has been more concerned with stopping the sin in our lives than unleashing the potential waiting within us to come to life.......For too long, the goal of trying to help people be good has been to control their passions and desires and keeping them at a minimum. But that's not what Jesus died for. He didn't die to stop you from doing bad stuff. He died so that you could become the extraordinary human being you were created to be."

:: Erwin Raphael McManus (Ephesians 4:11-...)

People always ask me what's going on inside my head. This guy captures a lot of what's going on in there.

Boring\\

My xanga entries are turning into those one sentence, not-fun entries that deserve no e-props. Lina, now is the time for those -48 eprops.
